Jonathan H. Reinstine, M.D. was raised in Jacksonville, Florida.  He graduated with distinction from University of Virginia.  Following graduation from University of Virginia Medical School and postgraduate training at the University of Louisville. 

He stayed in Louisville to join Associates in OB/GYN l986.  Having a special interest in advanced laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery, he holds the rank of Clinical Associate Professor in the University of Louisville’s Department of OB/GYN and teaches in the advanced laparoscope fellowship. 

He has served as Chief OB/GYN at both Norton and Suburban Hospitals, and has been cited by his peers as Top Doc in Louisville Magazine and in Best Doctors in America ™.  He is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and an Initiate in the American College of Surgeons. 

His wife, Paige Hertweck, M.D., and he have two children and enjoy cycling, snow and water skiing, sports car racing and are active at Second Presbyterian Church.
