Dr. Pridham originally comes from California, obtaining his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, and MD from University of California, San Diego.   After traveling across the country to Duke University for a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, he came to Louisville in l987 for a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility at the University of Louisville.   After finishing his fellowship, Dr. Pridham remained on staff at U of L for nine years, becoming an Associate Professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

“For the first 10 years of practice, I focused primarily on fertility and the treatment of hormonal disorders in women, with a strong emphasis on In Vitro Fertilization.  In l998 as I was considering a transition into private practice in the broader specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology, I had the great advantage of having already practiced in town as a consultant for all that time.  This gave me good knowledge of the different physicians and groups.  Joining Associates in Obstetrics and Gynecology was an easy choice, knowing the strengths and quality of the group.  While I can no longer offer IVF services directly to my patients, I believe that my additional training allows our group to provide greater expertise in fertility surgeries, advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, fertility management, and treatment of hormonal conditions.”

Dr. Pridham is married to Sarah Cox,  (who was born and raised in Louisville and keeps him anchored here) has five children ranging from 11-20 years old, which keeps him busy.  In his spare time, after riding lessons, softball, piano lessons and homework, he enjoys bike riding, reading and playing the piano in what is left of the day.
