Dr. Nancy Newman grew up throughout the midwest including Iowa, Colorado, Minnesota and Kentucky.  She graduated from University of Louisville School of Medicine where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated #2.  She did an OB-GYN residency at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio.  She was on staff at the University of Cincinnati for two years before returning to Louisville with her husband, George Boatwright.  She has three children, Mary, Madeline and Lucas.  She is an active member of Second Presbyterian Church.  In her limited spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping and reading.

During medical school, she was attracted to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology because it was an avenue to provide medical and surgical care to women.  It has been a privilege to care for hundreds of women in the Louisville areas and be a part of their lives.  She seeks to provide the best care and concern available.  She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
