Dr. James Holtman was a native Louisvillian. He graduated from the University of Louisville Medical School in 1974 and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1978. He joined AOG in 1978.
Dr. Holtman held many leadership positions including Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Norton Hospital and President of the Norton Hospital Medical Staff. He was consistently named by Louisville Magazine as one of Louisville’s “Top Docs”.
We lost Dr. Holtman September 10, 2007 after an eighteen month battle with leukemia. He is missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing him.
